HoYoverse’s Petit Planet will launch this Winter on PC — via a standalone client and the Epic Games Store — and on iOS and Android, with additional platforms in development. Closed beta registration is open now for the game’s "Coziness Test," and participants are chosen from players who complete the registration questionnaire.
Players begin with a single planet whose vitality, called Luca, changes its appearance and can alter elements. Daily activities include planting crops, fishing, beachcombing, mining, cooking, and crafting, and resources are gathered from different ecosystems for use in customization and recipes. Characters can change clothing, decorate interiors, and arrange outdoor areas with themed furniture.
Neighbors arrive with their own personalities, stories, and goals and can be invited to settle on the player’s planet; relationships progress through conversations, gifts, and interactions. The game also sends players off-planet via Starsea Voyages, where Neighbors travel to different Islets to find rare creatures, recipes, resources, and new characters. Multiplayer and social features center on the Galactic Bazaar, a shared hub for meeting other players, joining festivals, and spending time together.
Why it matters
If you care about social play, Petit Planet puts meeting, trading, festivals and co-op exploration into the core loop across PC and mobile builds, and you can try for a beta slot by filling the Coziness Test questionnaire.
