May’s Top Mobile Game Downloads: Arrows, Amaze Go, Free Fire, and More

According to Appmagic data, the leading mobile game downloads for May show a clear trend, with the top two spots dominated by Miniclip and Learnings’ respective games, both titled 'Arrows.' These titles not only maintained their strong positions from April but also saw Miniclip's companion game, Arrows Puzzle, secure the ninth spot. The downloads for these games are heavily influenced by players in India, which constitute roughly a third of the downloads for both Arrows and Arrows / Amaze Go over the past month. Notably, Miniclip’s Arrows Puzzle game saw an impressive 72% of its downloads come from India. Additionally, Learnings recently rebranded its title from Arrows Go to Amaze Go. In the broader top ten, Free Fire, Roblox, Ludo King, Subway Surfers, and Pizza Ready maintained steady download figures for the month. However, both Block Blast and Vita Mahjong experienced a notable decline. Block Blast, which had previously dominated the charts, recorded its lowest monthly downloads since September 2025, attributed to its brief removal from Google Play at the end of the month. Overall, 2026 has not seen Block Blast reach the download peaks of approximately 38 million it achieved in December 2025. Meanwhile, Vita Mahjong has now seen four consecutive months of declining downloads after peaking at 14.6 million installs in January 2026. The rankings for downloads from 11 to 20 are as follows: 11. Fortnite (Epic Games): 10.3 million, 12. Block Crazy Robo World Craft (Prokids Studio): 10.08 million, 13. Royal Kingdom (Dream Games): 10.07 million, 14. Paper.io 2 (Voodoo): 9.8 million, 15. Mob Control (Voodoo): 9.3 million, 16. Magic Tiles 3 (Amanotes): 9.26 million, 17. Magic Sort (Grand Games): 9 million, 18. School Party Craft (Candy Room Games), 19. My Talking Tom 2 (Outfit7), and 20. Super Bear Adventure (Earthkwak Games). Fortnite, in eleventh place, was only about a million downloads shy of breaking into the top ten, making a significant leap of 18 spots month-on-month. Royal Kingdom fell out of the top ten after making the cut in April, while several Minecraft-adjacent games, including Block Crazy Robo World Craft, School Party Craft, and Super Bear Adventure, made it into the top 20. Both Magic Tiles and Magic Sort slipped a couple of positions. Additionally, EA FC is on an upward trajectory in the rankings, likely to continue gaining momentum with the upcoming World Cup. Game District’s My Supermarket Simulator 3D marked its return to the top downloads chart at 23rd place with 7.9 million downloads, climbing 24 spots from the previous month.
