Owlchemy Labs has announced Hyper Visor, an XR arcade blaster that will be a launch title for the XREAL Aura headset and will release on Android for $1.99. The Google-owned studio behind Job Simulator and Vacation Simulator says Hyper Visor turns your real room into an arcade by overlaying colourful fractures in reality visible through a mysterious pair of living shades.
Hyper Visor sends an energy stream out of your hands to smash targets, take down bosses, and repair reality across eight levels. Each level includes its own targets and challenges and finishes with a boss guarding the rift you need to seal. The game’s core loop is simple: spot the fractures the shades reveal, blast the broken bits, and close the rifts to restore the world around you.
Owlchemy also confirmed Hyper Visor will join several of its other titles on XREAL Aura at launch: Job Simulator, Vacation Simulator, Dimensional Double Shift, and Inside [JOB] are all listed as available when the headset ships. XREAL is targeting Fall 2026 for headset shipments, planning to deliver units before the holidays in the US, Canada, Japan, and South Korea. Owlchemy hasn’t given a specific release date for Hyper Visor yet; until then the studio is sharing updates on X (formerly Twitter).
