ARES: THE IRON VANGUARD launches Sept 15 globally

ARES is presented as a stylish action RPG set in an expansive sci-fi world, with a central “suit change” mechanic that lets players switch between two suit types in real time during combat. Players can collect and upgrade gear to shape their own combat style, and choose among four distinct classes — Engineer, Warlord, Hunter and Warlock — each with different traits for tactical play. The publisher highlights console-quality graphics and fast-paced controls designed to reward player timing for dodges and combos, rather than purely automated outcomes.

The game includes several action modes beyond on-foot combat: piloting a Goliath for heavy-weapon battles, engaging in aerial fights with the Valkyrie, and using a hoverbike for high-speed traversal. Cooperative multiplayer content is also part of the package; players can team up for raid encounters and a mode named Filgrim Raid to tackle powerful bosses together. Those modes are listed among the title’s headline features and are intended for group play.

Com2uS Japan ran an early launch in August across six regions — Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil, Canada, Australia and New Zealand — to validate service stability and game balance. The company says it used feedback from those early players to improve overall game quality and to prepare content and live operations for the global release.
