Com2uS Holdings launches ARES: The Iron Vanguard globally on the 15th

Key takeaways

  • Global release date: 15th
  • Available on Apple App Store, Google Play and PC (cross-play)
  • Early launch in Aug: Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil, Canada, Australia, New Zealand

Com2uS Holdings announced the global release of ARES: The Iron Vanguard on the 15th, publishing the second-dive–developed action RPG for markets including North America, Europe and Southeast Asia. The game is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and supports cross-play with PC so mobile and desktop players share servers and progression.

The global version reworks ARES away from its prior MMORPG structure into a single-player–centered action RPG. Early progression focuses on solo story and combat, while cooperative raid PvE and seasonal final-content open up as characters grow. PvP is handled separately as an opt-in mode so players can avoid or join competitive play at will.

Gameplay mixes an SF setting with action-heavy controls: players equip two suits and switch them in real time with a "suit change" mechanic, chain evasion into combos, pilot the giant Goliath mech in vehicle combat, and fly into Valkyrie aerial engagements. Com2uS Holdings ran an early launch from August in six markets — Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil, Canada, Australia and New Zealand — and says user feedback from that period was applied to content polish and operational tuning.

Why it matters

Takeaway: ARES ships as a cross-play, single-player–first action RPG with modular multiplayer — you can treat it like a solo campaign, then opt into raids or PvP later if you want to jump in.
