Kabam (Netmarble) unveils WB All‑Star Mayhem mobile idle RPG

Key takeaways

  • Kabam (Netmarble’s North American studio) unveiled WB All‑Star Mayhem
  • Initial roster sources include 9 franchises, e.g. Justice League Unlimited and Looney Tunes
  • The game will launch with 100+ characters and add new characters/worlds post‑release

Netmarble’s North American studio Kabam has revealed WB All‑Star Mayhem, an upcoming idle collection RPG built under license from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game gathers characters from Warner Bros., DC, Looney Tunes and Cartoon Network IP into a single, 2D-animated battleground where players form teams and send them on adventures across different worlds.

Kabam lists nine franchise sources in the initial lineup: Justice League Unlimited, Adventure Time, Looney Tunes, Teen Titans Go!, Animaniacs, Scooby‑Doo, Steven Universe, Samurai Jack, and The Powerpuff Girls. WB All‑Star Mayhem opens with a story setup where Brain from Pinky and the Brain obtains a “Universal Remote” that lets him alter TV worlds; he recruits villains across dimensions from Metropolis to Samurai Jack’s future to rewrite each world’s story. Players assemble teams mixing heroes and villains — Batman, Superman, Teen Titans, Bugs Bunny, Scooby‑Doo, Finn and Jake are all mentioned — and take them into combat set in those varied universes.

Characters are rendered in 2D animation that aims to keep each original property’s personality, while also granting characters new abilities specific to the game. Kabam says the launch roster will include more than 100 characters, and that additional characters and worlds will be added after release. Kabam’s lead producer Sebastien Goode is quoted saying the team focused on preserving the beloved humor and character traits of the source material, boosting combat abilities, and making the game easy to play “anytime, anywhere.”

Why it matters

Collectors have a clear deliverable: a 100+ character launch roster plus ongoing additions of new characters and worlds after release. That combination establishes the game as a content-driven collection title from day one, with Kabam explicitly promising continued roster expansion in post‑launch updates.
