Several prominent mobile game developers have soft-launched new titles, offering a glimpse into their latest projects. Bit Odd, a Finnish studio formed by veterans of Supercell’s Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, has introduced Bit Odd Field Day, a hybrid of MOBA and extraction shooter currently in early access in Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, with plans for broader access.

Blizzard is developing Overwatch Rush, a mobile-exclusive top-down hero shooter set in the Overwatch universe. While testing details are forthcoming, early reports indicate over 10,000 downloads for its iOS version in the Philippines.

Century Games has launched Just Desserts, a merge narrative game, on Android in Australia, Canada, the Philippines, and the UK, while Family Farm Merge blends merge gameplay with farming themes, currently in testing in the UK, France, Canada, and Germany.

Questbound, a squad battler with a fantasy theme, is live in Australia, Canada, India, Indonesia, and the US on Android. Roomscapes is also in soft launch on Google Play in several markets.

PlayStation Mobile’s MLB: The Show is in soft launch on iOS and Android, currently recording downloads in the Philippines, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble is playable in France and several other countries.

Rovio is moving into the match-3 arena with Angry Birds Match World, now available on iOS in the Philippines, UK, and Canada. Angry Birds Rush is in early testing in the US, while Bloom City Match has launched in multiple countries for both iOS and Android.

Why it matters

Finally, Supercell's Boat Game, a third-person looter-shooter, is preparing for a soft launch in 29 markets, including parts of Europe, the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Hay Day Match, another spin-off of Supercell’s popular franchise, is also on the horizon.
