넥써쓰 to rename itself 'One' at Nov. 16 shareholder meeting

Key takeaways

  • Bylaws amendment to change name to 'One' submitted for Nov. 16 shareholders' meeting
  • Announcement made on the 29th
  • ONEstore launched globally in 122 countries with AI tab and OnePocket wallet
  • Business purpose to add blockchain network services including verification and validator operations

넥써쓰 announced on the 29th that it will submit a corporate bylaws amendment to change its company name to '원' (One) at an extraordinary shareholders' meeting scheduled for November 16. The filing would codify the 'One' brand the company has already been using across its services, including ONEstore.

The proposed amendment also adds blockchain network services to the company's stated business purposes, specifically listing verification of blockchain networks, validator participation, operation, management and related entrusted services. Nexsuss (넥써쓰) disclosed the change alongside a summary of how its consumer-facing products are organized: ONEstore Global, an AI game tab and embedded wallet called OnePocket, the web-based OnePlay service that runs without installation, and OneStory as an AI- and blockchain-based entertainment service. The company says OnePay is expanding into a global payment platform that includes stablecoins, and all these services operate on the OneChain blockchain.

Nexsuss acquired ONEstore in June and has been building what it calls a full-stack AI and blockchain game platform covering game publishing, domestic and international distribution, and payments. ONEstore has launched in 122 countries with the AI game tab and OnePocket wallet embedded; OnePlay widens access with browser-run games. CEO Jang Hyun-guk commented that the company will unify its AI blockchain game platform under the One brand and expand ONEstore from a domestic app marketplace into a global platform.

Why it matters

If shareholders approve the bylaws change on November 16, the company's legal name and corporate purpose will align with the One-branded products already in market and will include explicit authorization to run and steward blockchain network services under OneChain.
