Odin cleared for China on the 28th after PC and mobile approval

Key takeaways

  • Chinese title: 奥丁:神叛
  • Approval listed on the national roster dated the 28th (PC and mobile)
  • China publisher: Shanghai Zisun Information Technology; registered publisher: Junmeng Games
  • Korea+Asia cumulative downloads reported at 17 million

Odin (Chinese title 奥丁:神叛) has passed China’s government content review for both mobile and PC versions, with the approval listed on the national publishing authority’s roster dated the 28th. The entry uses the same Chinese title Kakao Games has used for its Taiwan, Hong Kong and global Chinese-language releases. No launch date for China has been announced.

The company handling China operations is listed as Zisun Tech (officially Shanghai Zisun Information Technology), a Shanghai-based studio founded in 2016 that develops and publishes PC and mobile games. The registered publisher on the approval paperwork is Junmeng Games, a Shanghai game studio acquired in 2015 by listed company Fuchun Co., Ltd. Junmeng has prior experience publishing a Korea-origin IP in China: it worked on 仙境传说RO: 新世代的诞生 using Gravity’s Ragnarok license.

Odin originally launched in South Korea on June 29, 2021, and remained the country’s top-grossing mobile game for two years after release. Kakao Games increased from sixth to second place among Korean mobile game publishers in that same period. The title began its Asian roll-out through partners—Kakao publishes the Taiwan version with local operator GloHow—and a global version released on April 29, 2025; its global one-year anniversary fell on April 23, 2026. Cumulative downloads across Korea and Asia are reported at 17 million.

Why it matters

Takeaway: China’s approval list included 12 games and only one Korean title — Odin — and the filing shows both platform builds and specific Chinese partners already in place, but the company has not set a China release date yet.
