MIRESI: Invisible Future Pre-Registration Opens Ahead of Anime Expo 2026
Smilegate has initiated pre-registration for its upcoming collectible RPG, MIRESI: Invisible Future, ahead of its debut at Anime Expo 2026. Attendees at the event will have the opportunity to experience the game for the first time in North America. Alongside this, Smilegate has announced plans for special events at Anime Expo related to the pre-registration campaign. While specific details about exclusive rewards for those who register at the MIRESI booth are forthcoming, there is anticipation surrounding these incentives.
MIRESI: Invisible Future is being developed by Control9, a studio established by former developers from the titles Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and Seven Knights 2. The game is currently under development for both PC and mobile platforms, though a release date has yet to be confirmed. The art direction for MIRESI is led by illustrator Hyung-seop "Hyulla" Kim, known for his contributions to Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and other anime-style projects.
Set in a world where time and space intersect, players will take on the role of the "Councilor," embarking on a journey with characters such as Ende, Tieria, and Itsuka to prevent the destruction of their era. The combat system uniquely blends real-time and turn-based mechanics, emphasizing character positioning and movement while integrating time travel themes into gameplay.
Why it matters
The pre-registration announcement follows a recent trailer released by Smilegate in May, which showcased the game's narrative focus on altering fate through time travel amid a backdrop of impending destruction. Additionally, the developer has launched a Chronicle section on its official website to share development updates and collect player feedback. Smilegate indicated that more information about MIRESI: Invisible Future and its launch plans will be revealed in the future.
