NEXON Company is set to launch Mabinogi Mobile in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau in July 2026, following its successful debut in South Korea, where it has surpassed one million downloads and received multiple awards. The game, developed by devCAT studio, was first revealed in February 2021 and showcased at G-Star 2022 before its South Korean launch on March 27, 2026.
Players can explore the world of Erinn, engaging in various activities such as battling bosses, fishing, cooking, and crafting their own unique stories. Mabinogi Mobile introduces new encounters, storylines, and characters that expand upon the classic MMORPG IP. A server for Japan is also slated for release later this year.
The game emphasizes a blend of combat and leisure, allowing players to engage in boss battles while also partaking in social activities like dancing and playing musical instruments around a campfire. The gameplay features skill combinations that adapt based on Rune Engravings, adding depth to the combat experience.
Why it matters
