Chaos Zero Nightmare Unveils Adelheid and Galactic Disaster Season 3 Update
Smilegate has rolled out a significant update for Chaos Zero Nightmare, introducing the second chapter of Galactic Disaster Season 3 titled "A Girl’s Nightmare". This new chapter continues the storyline aboard the SS Edenity, where players investigate the character Adelheid, a pivotal figure in the game's narrative. Adelheid is now a playable character, classified as a Void-attribute Vanguard Combatant with a focus on defense. Her abilities include granting "Blessing" effects to allied cards and building Shields, enhancing team survivability.
Accompanying Adelheid is her Partner character, Clara, who boosts Defense and provides Fixed Heal effects when Blessing-affected cards are utilized. The update also expands the game's progression content by unveiling the first half of "The Great Rift." Players can now explore the new 2nd Supply Store and earn rewards, including the Omega Code. Notably, Smilegate has lifted the restriction that previously limited The Great Rift to current seasonal Save Data, allowing for more versatile build options while still offering extra score bonuses for utilizing Seasonal Save Data.
Gameplay systems have also seen adjustments, notably the roguelike "Sortie" mode, which now features enhanced special effects for Drafted Combatants, increasing strategic depth during runs. The introduction of Auto-Combat in Chaos gameplay streamlines player experience, while new Core items enable customization of equipment linked to acquired Save Data.

On the promotional front, Smilegate will make its debut at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles, showcasing both Chaos Zero Nightmare and Miresi: The Invisible Future. Attendees can look forward to giveaways, cosplay events, and a playable demo for Miresi.
