Koei Tecmo announced that Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator will end service in Japan on November 25, 2026 at 4:00 PM JST. The game launched in Japan on September 23, 2023 and received a global release in January 2024; the global version already closed in March 2025.
Paid sales for Lodestar Gems and other paid items stopped on August 27, 2026, but existing paid currency may still be spent until service termination. Refund applications for unused paid Lodestar Gems open on November 26, 2026 and run through February 24, 2027; free Lodestar Gems are not eligible. The app will remain available for download and distribution until February 24, 2027, the same date the refund window ends.
The development team will ship several final updates: Chapter 33 of the main story, “Our Future,” guaranteed ★3 character and SSR Memoria gachas, and three third-anniversary Special Battle events. The studio also plans adjustments to login bonuses, daily missions, shops, recipes, exploration, and other systems during the final months. A dedicated third-anniversary website goes live on September 23 and will host short stories and retrospectives covering content not shown in the main scenario.
Why it matters
The official Discord will stop accepting new posts on September 30 and will close with the game on November 25. If you have paid Lodestar Gems sitting in your account, remember they remain spendable until service ends and can be refunded by submitting an application between November 26 and February 24.
