Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME launches 1st anniversary event on Aug 1, 2026

Main story Chapter 14, titled “A-type Disaster — Final Battle —,” moves the action to New York. After dimensional gates closed worldwide, Japan’s Self-Defense Force and CLOZER gather in the city, only to face the full-scale appearance of the unmeasurable “Dimensional Identifier Monster A.” The chapter also follows Kafka Hibino, whose body is being eroded by massive transfer energy after jumping into a dimensional rift, and Shinomiya Sagon, who again plunges solo into the rifts to try to save Kafka. The narrative sets simultaneous frontline battles and a desperate rescue attempt across the same conflict.

To mark the anniversary the game is handing out over 25,000 Dimension Crystals via login bonuses and event rewards during the campaign period. A new ★5 character, listed as “[A Strike from the Monster Dimension] Monster No. 8,” debuts with an ominous purple aura and a transformed appearance. The Pick Up gacha has reopened and features ★5 units including “[Beyond Limits] Shinomiya Sagon” (recommended weapon: gun) and Lc - Anorona (gun). The special program titled “8th Day Special” will stream on August 5, 2026 at 20:00 JST and promises the latest anniversary details.
