Lineage W, NCsoft's MMORPG, has opened pre-registration ahead of its 5th‑anniversary update scheduled for November 4. The update adds a new world called Ashur and a signature class named Muhee, and the pre-registration window runs through November 3.
Pre-registration includes a lottery: 5,000 winners will receive 28 "Ashur's Diamond Safe Boxes" each. Those boxes can be opened once per day and grant between 100 and 10,000 engraving diamonds per open, for a maximum possible total of 280,000 engraving diamonds. After registering, players receive a coupon code that redeems growth items including "5th Anniversary Special Transformation Card 11x (Event)" and "5th Anniversary Special Magic Doll Card 11x (Event)."
Ashur launches on November 4 as an extreme hyper‑boosting server designed for rapid progression—NCsoft says characters can reach level 80 within two weeks. New‑world user rewards listed for Ashur include three "Golden Eggs" and a pet "Lv1 Shepherd (Male) Adoption Box." Daily attendance on Ashur hands out an "Advanced Transformation·Magic Doll Draw Ticket" each day, and dungeon‑collected "Ashur Coins" can be exchanged for unbound (non‑engraved) diamonds. Players who pre‑create an Ashur character will be given three gift packages: "Ashur's Special Gift Box," "Ashur's Growth Support Box," and "Ashur's Treasure Chest (Hwasu‑bun)." Those boxes contain items such as "Event Hero Transformation·Magic Doll Challenge Tickets," hero artifacts, legendary artifacts, and additional Golden Eggs; the Golden Egg can yield up to 1 billion Adena.
Why it matters
The 5th‑anniversary eve event runs until the November 4 regular maintenance and includes a daily "5th Anniversary Attendance Check" that gives a "5th Anniversary Gift Box" and a "5th Anniversary Special Legendary·Myth Challenge Ticket Selection Box." Opening the "5th Anniversary Cube" guarantees Honor Coins and Card Coins, with chances to get items like legendary transformation and magic doll challenge tickets. For full reward lists and redemption steps, NCsoft directs players to the official Lineage W website.
