PUBG: Final Circle teases Kickstarter funding with trailer on the 16th

PUBG: Final Circle, a tabletop TCG based on PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, announced a Kickstarter funding drive and released a teaser trailer on the 16th via the project’s official YouTube channel. The game is a physical card game for 2–5 players; the Kickstarter start date, funding goal, retail price and official launch schedule have not been disclosed.

Final Circle adapts the battle royale loop into a round-based card duel where players pick characters with unique abilities and compete to be the last survivor. Each round introduces a new battlefield, and players scavenge for weapons and items while resolving encounters through turn-by-turn card play. Winning a match awards the original game’s victory phrase, “Chicken Dinner.”

Card combat follows a color-and-number system: if you hold a card matching the lead color, you must play it; if you don’t, you may respond with a counter color to deal ambush damage. Numbers and damage trade off against each other—high-number cards are easier to win in comparisons but deal lower damage, while high-damage cards are harder to win outright. Those concrete rules set up tactical choices driven by character traits and equipment combinations rather than random draws.

CardMonster, the Seoul-based tabletop studio behind Final Circle, was founded in September 2023 and is led by CEO Son Suhyun, who previously worked as a designer and producer at Nexon, PUBG, and Krafton. The project’s next public milestone is the Kickstarter itself; until CardMonster publishes dates and targets, the teaser and the stated 2–5 player table rules are the best look we have at how PUBG’s last-man-standing idea translates to cardboard.
