Sephiroth Joins Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy in New Season
Square Enix has officially added Sephiroth to the playable roster of Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy, a mobile 3v3 team battle arena game, as part of the newly launched season titled A Planet in Peril. Players can unlock Sephiroth until June 30 at 3:59 AM UTC by engaging with the new season's content and reward tracks.
To celebrate this addition, a Featured Draw event has been launched, featuring increased rates for obtaining Sephiroth's outfits. Currently, six costumes are available, and acquiring any of these will allow players to use Sephiroth in that specific appearance. This event also introduces new abilities, including unique attacks such as Super Nova, Octaslash, Oblivion, and Hell’s Gate. Furthermore, crossover-style abilities linked to Aerith and Tifa, namely Planet’s Protection and Falling Crane, have been incorporated into the ability pool.
The A Planet in Peril season brings with it new story chapters titled The Comet’s Gift and The Savior’s Plan. Players can earn Season Points through both ranked and casual battles to unlock Sephiroth’s Advent of Glory style. Those who opt for the premium Season Pass will also gain access to the Operative of Legend Sephiroth style as part of their rewards.

Additionally, a login bonus campaign is in effect, providing rewards such as Draw Tickets and Growth Eggs throughout the event period. The update features a one-time Regular Character Selectable Ability Draw, allowing players to choose one character from the game's original 16 launch-era characters and obtain four exclusive abilities, including two UR-tier rewards. An Invite a Friend campaign is also running, enabling players to invite friends using invitation codes to complete missions together and earn up to 9,999 MogPay Points. Dissidia Duellum is available on mobile devices through iOS and Android.
