TOHO Games and Edelweiss are taking steps to preserve the narrative of their mobile title, Sakuna: Hinuka Junreitan, as they prepare for the game’s scheduled shutdown on July 27, 2026. The development team has initiated official YouTube uploads to ensure players can continue to experience the story even after the app is no longer available. All scenario chapters are being uploaded to the game’s official YouTube channel, with the prologue and Chapters 1 through 3 already available, and Chapter 4 added on May 28. Remaining chapters, including the game’s conclusion, will be released in sequence over the coming weeks. The decision to discontinue service was made after the developers assessed that maintaining a satisfactory player experience would be challenging. They expressed their appreciation to the community for their support since the game’s launch.
