Dawn's Edge (劍之川) opens global pre-registration, set for Q4 2026

The game is built around a mysterious locus called the “Sword River” that connects multiple worlds; players recruit swordsmen whose fates were warped by an entity called the Mirage and guide them through interdimensional journeys to rewrite those outcomes. Presentation mixes 3D cartoon rendering with 2D dynamic art, and combat uses real-time controls rather than turn-based rounds. Designers also provide 34 strategy cards for team customization, letting players combine cards, exploit elemental strengths and weaknesses, and manage internal and external martial arts and status effects during fast-paced encounters.

Han Jia Squirrel highlights the developer’s live-ops experience: the team’s previous Steam title, Sands of Salzar, sold two million copies and holds an 82% “overwhelmingly positive” rating on Steam. Neptune’s head of game operations, Kuan Cheng-hsien (權承賢), said the publisher will localize the game for different regions and culture-specific play habits, and reiterated the Q4 2026 release window in his statement.
