POPUCOM Version 1.2 Update Introduces New Story Stage and Mini-Games
The version 1.2 update for the cooperative puzzle platformer POPUCOM has been launched by publishers GRYPHLINE and Fireshine Games, in collaboration with developer Hypergryph Network Technology. This latest update features a new story mode level named "Fallen Laputa," along with two mini-games titled "Jump ‘n Shoot" and "POPUU-3." Players can unlock the mini-game "Jump ‘n Shoot" by completing all Inner Ring stages, while "POPUU-3" becomes available after finishing the new story stage.
In addition to new gameplay content, the update introduces several new outfits: "Swift Escort," "Offroad Pioneer," and "Neon Streak." Players can also collect stickers by engaging with the new stage, enhancing the customization options available.
The patch notes highlight other improvements, including a start confirmation feature for Online Story Mode, which requires Player 2 to confirm stage selection after Player 1 chooses a stage. The update also optimizes mini-game display scaling for various PC resolutions and addresses several issues, such as a glitch on the main screen under certain conditions, crashes when changing outfits, and unplayable stages.

POPUCOM is currently available for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, with a PlayStation 5 version also in development. A new trailer and additional screenshots have been released to showcase the update.
