Pokémon TCG Pocket Unveils Paradox Drive Expansion with Ancient and Future Pokémon
The Pokémon Company has revealed the Paradox Drive expansion, set to launch on May 27, 2026, for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. This themed booster pack marks the first appearance of Ancient and Future Pokémon cards, inspired by the Paradox Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Fans can expect to see cards featuring the Legendary Pokémon Koraidon and Miraidon, along with a variety of Ancient and Future Pokémon that will allow players to create specialized deck archetypes based on these unique subcategories.
In conjunction with the expansion announcement, several in-game events for Pokémon TCG Pocket have been scheduled. The Paradox Drive Emblem Event will take place from late May to early June, rewarding players with emblems, shinedust, and other items through battles. Following this will be a Community Week event in early June, focusing on card trading and sharing, which will offer rewards such as trade hourglasses and cosmetic accessories.
Why it matters
Later in June, players can join the Ceruledge ex Drop Event, which will feature solo battles and reward participants with B Series promo packs volume 9. Additionally, a Wonder Pick Event is set for mid-to-late June, introducing promo cards for Sableye and Floragato. During this time, event missions will provide shop tickets that can be exchanged for promotional cards and items. Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is accessible on mobile devices through iOS and Android.
