Persona5: The Phantom X Welcomes Makoto Yuki and Persona 3 Reload Crossover

Sega and Perfect World Games have dropped the Version 4.1 update for Persona5: The Phantom X, bringing along the exciting first part of the Persona 3 Reload crossover event titled Met by Moonlight. This update introduces Makoto Yuki as a playable character, adding fresh dynamics to the Phantom Thieves’ adventures.

The crossover narrative sees the Phantom Thieves exploring iconic locations inspired by Persona 3 Reload, including the eerie Tartarus and the bustling Paulownia Mall. During this event, players will find Wonder and the rest of the P5X cast encountering members of S.E.E.S. after being whisked away into a labyrinth linked to the mysterious Dark Hour.

Makoto Yuki joins the fray as a new 5-star Fire-element Assassin character, available through the When Moon Reaches Stars Most Wanted Phantom Idol Contract banner, which is set to run until June 25, 2026. Alongside him, players can obtain his exclusive 5-star weapon via the Arms Deals: Silent Pistol banner. Makoto specializes in offense, utilizing a Moon Phase stacking mechanic that amplifies his damage output while also providing party-wide support effects. Additionally, he employs Assist actions and Theurgy mechanics adapted from Persona 3 Reload, enhancing his role in battles.

To further spice up the experience, a special Butler-themed cosmetic outfit for Makoto has been added to the in-game shop. This set includes a themed avatar, profile design, and profile frame to complete the look.

Moreover, the update kicks off anniversary campaigns as the game gears up for its first anniversary celebration in June. Players can look forward to earning Platinum Tickets, Platinum Milicoins, Meta Jewels, and Wingbeat Coins through login bonuses and special event rewards in the coming weeks.
