PATLABOR the Case Files Reveals New Gameplay in Third Trailer

Good Smile Company and Chime Corporation have released the third trailer for their 3D action game, PATLABOR the Case Files, highlighting fresh gameplay mechanics. The game draws inspiration from the Mobile Police Patlabor series, recreating iconic scenes through various mission types. Players will take charge of Special Vehicles Section 2 in Main Missions, while Another Side Missions provide a perspective on battles from the opposing side. Over 20 Labors will feature in the game, including notable models like the Ingram, Griffon, and Type Zero. Additionally, a Simulator Mode will be available, allowing players to engage in shooting drills and Labor-versus-Labor combat scenarios. The narrative centers around the increase in Labor-related crime following the widespread adoption of industrial-use robots. In response, the Metropolitan Police Department establishes the Special Vehicle Section 2 Patrol Labor Squadron, which leads to the development of the Patlabor units. PATLABOR the Case Files is set to launch this Summer for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, with support for English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese text options, alongside Japanese voice acting.
