Paranormal Activity: Threshold Canceled After Development Extension Denied
DarkStone Digital's Paranormal Activity: Threshold has been officially canceled after Paramount declined to extend its development timeline. Founder Brian Clarke announced the decision, noting the game's promising reception at PAX last year. Despite support from publisher DreadXP, Paramount's refusal to grant additional time left Clarke with the choice to either rush development or part ways, which he chose. While the project won't move forward, Clarke plans to continue creating horror games following a brief break.
