Key's Summer Pockets Sunnyside Stories launches Dec 18, 2026

Sunnyside Stories reconstructs the official short stories that previously appeared on the web and in books, and the release will include full voice for those chapters. The package adds newly drawn CGs from the characters’ original illustrators, a new opening and ending theme, and one entirely new episode exclusive to this release. The title’s catchphrase is “Those small lights of that summer,” and the setting returns to Torishiro-jima to revisit that island’s summer from multiple perspectives.

The game uses an omnibus structure with 16 episodes that can be played in a mostly free order; only some segments impose a fixed sequence. The collected episodes are: 1. Sora Amakado “Yume no Mani Mani”, 2. Shizuhisa Mioori “The Soft Things Held in the Chest”, 3. Tenzen Kano “The Beginning of Table Tennis”, 4. Tsumugi Venders “A Precious Person, Someone Who Treasures You”, 5. Inari “A Small Body, A Large Memory”, 6. Shiro Naruse “Words Given”, 7. Miki Nomura “Balance Is Never Constant”, 8. Kobato Naruse “Us, As Usual”, 9. Ryoichi Mitani “We Continue That Day…”, 10. Kamome Hisoshima “A Path Once Walked”, 11. Kyoko Misaki “Eyes”, 12. Umi Kato “Traces of Summer”, 13. Tsumugi Venders 2 “Kotori’s Wedding”, 14. Satoru Kamiyama “The Guidance of a Rice Ball”, 15. Shiro Naruse 2 “Again”, and 16. Haeri Takahara “???”. Those episode titles come directly from the official list in the announcement.

The project brings back many of the original creative staff: character art is handled by Na-Ga, fumuyun, Tsubasu Izumi, and Yu-non Nagayama; scenario writers include Yu Niijima, Kai, and Hasama, who also contributed to the original Summer Pockets. The voice cast features Kobayashi Yoshimi as Shiro Naruse, Takamori Natsumi as Sora Amakado, Hieda Nene as Kamome Hisoshima, Iwai Emiri as Tsumugi Venders, Ichinomiya Saku as Miki Nomura, Koyama Sahomi as Shizuhisa Mioori, Tanaka Aimi as Umi Kato, Fairouz Ai as Satoru Kamiyama, Kumagai Kentaro as Ryoichi Mitani, Hamada Youhei as Tenzen Kano, Shiraishi Minoru as Kobato Naruse, Takamoto Megumi as Kyoko Misaki, Suzuki Konomi as Inari, and Chiba Shoya as Haeri Takahara. The new opening theme “Luster piece” will be sung by Suzuki Konomi, with lyrics by Yu Niijima and composition/arrangement by Shuhei Ohashi.
