Hungry Studio's Block Blast is back on Google Play after a brief absence. The game’s store page was temporarily unavailable starting May 28, 2026, but it has since been restored. A company spokesperson confirmed to PocketGamer.biz that the title was indeed removed for a short period, although no specific reason was provided for its unavailability. Block Blast continues to be accessible on the iOS App Store.
Since its release in 2021, Block Blast has become one of the most downloaded mobile games, achieving an impressive 868 million installs, according to AppMagic data. As of January 2026, Hungry Studio reported that the game boasts 70 million daily active users and 300 million monthly active users around the globe. This widespread success has propelled Hungry Studio to the 42nd spot on the Top 50 Mobile Game Makers list for 2025.
