Hatsune Miku Joins Persona5: The Phantom X for Global Anniversary

Sega and Perfect World Games have confirmed that Hatsune Miku, specifically the version from Persona 4: Dancing All Night, will be featured in Persona5: The Phantom X as part of the game's first global anniversary celebration. The collaboration will kick off on June 25, with further details expected to be revealed prior to the event.

Set in a Tokyo where human desires have disappeared, Persona5: The Phantom X expands on the foundation of Persona 5 while introducing unique elements. Players will navigate the life of a new protagonist who experiences school life during the day and delves into cognitive dungeons at night. A notable addition is the Highlight Gauge, which fills during battles, allowing players to unleash special skills unique to thieves. While combat can feature up to four party members, players can summon an additional member for support after performing certain actions.

Why it matters

The gameplay retains the hallmark blend of turn-based combat, daily time management, and relationship-building that fans of the series have come to love. Players must balance part-time jobs and extracurricular activities alongside their dungeon explorations and combat challenges. Persona5: The Phantom X is currently available in the West on PC via Steam and on mobile devices through iOS and Android.
