GTA: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition Coming to Mobile

Rockstar Games has confirmed the release of Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas as HD remasters in a collection titled Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. This package will be available on PC through the Rockstar Games Launcher, PlayStation, Xbox, and notably, the Nintendo Switch. Additionally, iOS and Android versions are set to arrive in the first half of 2022. Although specific pricing and release dates have yet to be announced, Rockstar has indicated that each game will feature broad upgrades, including graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements. The remasters are designed to retain the classic look and feel of the original titles from the PS2 era. For those who grew up with Grand Theft Auto V and may not have had the opportunity to experience these earlier games, this collection provides a timely chance to explore the stories of Claude in GTA III, Tommy Vercetti in Vice City, and CJ in San Andreas. More details about the collection are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks. In preparation for the new release, Rockstar will begin removing current versions of these titles from digital storefronts next week.
