Blue Reflection Quartet trailer drops, pre-orders now live

Koei Tecmo and developer Gust have unveiled the second official trailer for Blue Reflection Quartet and have opened digital pre-orders for the collection. This compilation includes all four stories from the Blue Reflection series, known for exploring the emotions and relationships of female students, with character design by acclaimed illustrator Mel Kishida.

Blue Reflection Quartet aims to enhance accessibility for newcomers while offering deeper insights for returning players. The collection features upgraded textures and new visual effects, like glistening water, enhancing the overall atmosphere. Notably, autosave functionality has been introduced, promising a smoother gameplay experience.

The collection includes:

- **Blue Reflection**: This console game follows an injured ballerina who uses her abilities as a magical Reflector to forge connections and combat threats to the world.

- **Blue Reflection: Ray**: An anime adapted into a condensed game format, where players follow characters Hiori and Ruka as they navigate their memories and confront a rival student intent on reshaping the world. The game includes new short stories and connects with the broader series narrative.

- **Blue Reflection: Sun**: Originally a mobile game, its story has been remade for consoles, incorporating systems from BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light. It features 24 new character events and ties into the other series entries.

- **Blue Reflection: Second Light**: This console game, released in October 2021, centers on students without memories in a mysterious world. Players venture to reclaim their past while uncovering truths about their reality. The Quartet release adds eight new characters from RAY and SUN to the battle roster.

Additional enhancements include increased battle speeds, faster exploration movement, and event fast-forwarding, all designed to improve player enjoyment. A comprehensive database will provide players with detailed character and event chronologies, enriching the experience of the series. An official artwork gallery by Mel Kishida will also be accessible.
