BLEACH Mirrors High Closed Beta Sign-Ups Open, Features Original Soul Reapers
Bandai Namco has announced the opening of applications for the closed beta test of its mobile action RPG BLEACH Mirrors High, coinciding with Anime Expo 2026. This beta will feature two original Soul Reapers crafted by Tite Kubo, the creator of Bleach. A new trailer was also released during the event, showcasing the game’s setting after the Thousand-Year Blood War, focusing on the Soul Society and the 13 Court Guard Squads. The game introduces two protagonists, Shirin Migishima and Shirane Sanari.
Applications for the closed beta are currently being accepted until July 13 at 2:59 a.m. UTC (which is July 12 at 7:59 p.m. PDT). The testing phase is scheduled to take place from July 22 at 11:00 p.m. PDT to July 29 at 10:59 p.m. PDT. Notably, tablets will not be supported during this beta.
The closed beta will support multiple languages, including Japanese, English, French, German, Traditional Chinese, and Korean, and will be available on devices running iOS 17.0 or later (with a minimum of 4 GB RAM, requiring TestFlight) and Android 12.0 or later (with a minimum of 6 GB RAM).

Tite Kubo commented on his involvement, stating that he actively participated in various aspects of the project, including the title, scenario, and character designs. He expressed enthusiasm for the character designs, sharing that he ended up contributing more than initially requested. Kubo also aimed for the logo design to reflect his style—simple yet memorable. He participated in the audition process and recording sessions, ensuring the characters aligned with his vision. He hinted that the story has connections to the main storyline of the comics, encouraging fans to look forward to it.
