Borderlands 4 adds sixth Vault Hunter Loveless in 2K update (11th)

Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort sends players to the tropical island Providence for a rescue mission alongside Beastmaster FL4K. The pack’s missions include a volcanic bunker infiltration, jungle exploration using ziplines, and a Digiverse server break-in. Enemies listed for the pack include soldiers in exoskeleton suits who can keep fighting after death, large weapon-mounted mechs, and a miniboss that emerges from Ordonaite-infused lava. The tone leans action-heavy and environmental: expect vertical traversal, tech stealth, and a mix of biological and mechanical adversaries.

Bounty Pack 5: Amara and the Vile Shadows centers on dimensional anomalies in Vile Rictor’s old lab on Moon Elpis. It adds repeatable missions, new bosses and minibosses, and several new enemy types. Rewards for completion include a universal Vault Hunter skin, a new vehicle, an ECHO-4 drone skin, teal-tier weapons, and legendary gear. Separately purchasable Vault Card 5 unlocks 24 cosmetic items plus four pieces of equipment that can be option-reset, letting players customize looks and tweak builds without losing gear.

The new Vault Hunter, Loveless the Hacker, is presented as an Anshin-born hacker turned assassin who blends biotic abilities with digital weaponry. His kit reportedly summons a virus manifested as a Wyrm onto the battlefield and favors high mobility alongside critical-hit and status-effect playstyles, with particular emphasis on corrosive and radiation damage. The free 1.10 update that accompanies the DLC increases the maximum level cap by 10 and applies balance adjustments across Vault Hunters. Story Pack 1 and Bounty Pack 2 items are also being made available for individual purchase.
